Aisling Bea

Aisling B a was born 16 March, 1984, in Kildare Ireland. The comedian has appeared on QI with Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, more popularly than the stage name Aisling Bea (born March 16, 1984), is an Irish actor, writer and stand-up comic. Bea first began her career as a stand-up comedian in 2011, after playing a few small roles she played in Irish and British TV dramas beginning in 2009. Bea began performing frequently on sketch comedy shows and sitcoms from 2012. After she received an award from the Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2011 She was a frequent guest on a variety of panels, and is currently a regular. Between 2016 and 2017 she was a part of 8 Out of 10 Cats Team, in addition to being a performer of the 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown spinoff. Born to Brian O'Sullivan, the actress was blessed with one sister named Sinead. In 2012 she became the second woman to ever receive the So You Think That You're Funny award. Her surname is Bea to honor her late father. Aisling O'Sullivan, whose real name is as Cliodhnadh Aisling, was born at Kildare town, which is located in County Kildare. Bea's father Brian was an equine vet, who committed suicide at the age of three when Bea reached the age of three, was the sufferer of self-harm. Bea was informed of his death only at thirteen years of age. In 2017 she published an article in The Guardian about the suicide of her father's relatives and took on the stage name Bea to pay tribute. Bea as well as her older sister Sinead was raised with Helen Moloney (n e Moloney) who was a jockey as well as a teacher at a secondary school. Their family was enthralled by racing as well as horses. Bea started out her career as a tour-guide at the Irish National Stud. However Bea knew early that the race industry was not for her.
