Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney (born Amal Ramzi alamuddin) is a British/Lebanese lawyer, human rights advocate and charity philanthropist. A graduate of Oxford University School of Law as well as New York University School of Law has achieved international recognition in her professional career and for her achievements in the areas of the international law of human rights. Some of her most prominent clients include numerous nation states, including the state of Armenia fighting for recognition of Armenia's participation in the Armenian Genocide by the Turkish government. Amal Clooney was married to American actor George Clooney and became a household brand in the popular culture in 2014. Prior to this, she was previously been a well-known name within the legal community for her ability to represent clients. Her expertise spans a broad spectrum of tasks, ranging including social justice and issues relating to human rights through to representing various multinational corporations at court and when it comes to negotiations on government regulations. In 2015, she was a barrister, which is a kind of legal representative for British courts at London-based Doughty Street Chambers.
